Post-doctoral Research Associate in Organic Electronics University of Cambridge – Department of Physics
Salary: £27,319-£35,646 pa
The funds for this post are available for 18 months.
The Optoelectronics Group at the Cavendish Laboratory (http://www-oe.phy.cam.ac.uk/), one of the leading academic groups in the field of organic electronics, has an opening for a postdoctoral research associate. The position is part of European framework project which provide opportunities for collaborating with other leading academic and industrial partners across Europe. The projects are focussed on the structure-property relationships of new classes of organic semiconductor materials, fundamental understanding of their charge transport properties and applications in field-effect transistors and solar cells.
A PhD degree in physics, materials science, chemistry or related fields and an interest in working with new materials are required. Specific experience in organic semiconductors is desirable, but not essential.
