Junior Researcher / PhD student in Computer Science (M/F)
- 2-year contract, renewable once, 40 hours/week

Area : Software Testing, application-level Security and Model-Driven Engineering.
Mission
- Prepare a doctoral thesis in Computer Science with specialisation in Software Engineering.
- Assist the professor in his teaching activities, one to three hours per week.
Research activities will take place in the LASSY team. The Laboratory for Advanced Software Systems (LASSY) is one of the four labs in the fast-growing Computer and Communications research unit (csc.uni.lu).
Profile
- A Master in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering
- A background in one of the following area is an asset: software testing, model-driven engineering, application-level/web application security
- Fluency in English. Fluency in French is a plus but not mandatory.
Examples of thesis topics
- SOA, Product-line modeling and testing
- Security modeling and testing
- Malware detection and code sanitization
- Empirical studies on software vulnerabilities
- Model composition and aspect-oriented modeling
- Testing security for large-scale distributed system (P2P, GRID)
